Providing exceptional hospice care takes consistency, compassion, and a commitment to the people we serve. From listening to families and respecting each person’s wishes to providing emotional and spiritual support, managing symptoms, and helping caregivers feel prepared, every part of the hospice experience matters.
The Hospice CAHPS survey collects feedback from family caregivers about their experiences, including communication, support, care preferences, help with pain and symptoms, and their overall experience with hospice. These results contribute to the publicly reported Hospice Star Ratings. (CMS)
